Visit Frequency or Visit-Based Rewards

By popular demand, we added visit frequency, or also termed visit-based reward program functionality.

For a business owner to use the program, download the native (faster speed than web-based apps) RoboRewards business app. Once installed and logged in, a member will touch the splash page to check-in (not required), which explains the program. Next, the member will either scan the reward card or enter their mobile number. The system checks to see if the member is new or existing.

If existing, the member can redirect to an instant win game or receive a check-in credit. Once checked-in, the member can redirect to available rewards or display locked reward goals. All rules are fully customizable and can be turned on or off.

If new, the program will ask the member if they would like to join. If they choose to join, the tablet redirects to a native form (optional, you may collect the mobile number only) to collect any additional information you would like. Once the form is complete, a digital reward visit credit issues.

Member Mobile Verification

If a member exists when check-in occurs, first, the system checks if the mobile numbers verified. Mobile verification occurs when a member replies back “Yes” to an SMS opt-in request sent to the user when they join the visit-based reward program. If not verified, the system will ask the member to Resend Verification to make sure they don’t miss out on important offers (feature can be turned off and is not required).

They can alternatively Skip Verification by pressing the respective button. Verified mobile numbers ensure a clean marketing list. A digital Visit Credit will issue if check-in rule requirements pass. Rule restrictions can be created, allowing one check-in every 30 min or 60 min or whatever you choose. After successful check-in, available offers for the member will display, if any. The member can choose to redeem an offer or save offers for a later date.

Tablet App Features

The tablet application is a native app meaning it does not require the Internet to load pages making the application faster than web-based apps. Additionally, when updates are required, the business owner can choose to push the update out and force members or staff to update the app with a few clicks of a button. The business owner is not required to re-download the application or log in and out of the app, wasting valuable time.

If a business chooses to run different promotions every day, week, or month, they can make the changes in the back office, and they automatically display on the tablet. This is an extremely powerful feature, especially if the business has hundreds or thousands of locations.

Loss of WiFi Connection

If the tablet loses WiFi Internet connection, the program works as normal, and offline transaction posting occurs. Transactions will continually record and store on the tablet until the tablet goes online. Once online, transactions upload to RoboRewards central database and transactions that do not violate the time restriction rules are awarded.

The visit-based reward program offers immense flexibility bypassing the POS system altogether while taking advantage of our automated marketing features.
